As a pharmacist I have patients ask me all the time, “What’s better, Advil or Tylenol?” for their bumps and bruises.

My usual response to this question is, “Well, it depends.”

Well, Joe West is at it again…except this time maybe, just maybe he got the call right.

Recently, the frequently maligned Major League Baseball umpire claimed the length of a Red Sox versus Yankees game in the season opening series was "pathetic and embarrassing."

The game, which officially lasted 3 hours and 21 minutes, was, ironically, the shortest in a series that also featured games lasting 3:46 and 3:48.

Besides a better choice of words and timing, I couldn’t agree more with Joe West’s point.
